"Solstice Imaging Inc. was founded by Sunshine Story Ballentine after a successful career in Counseling Psychology and Human Services. She has a BS in Education and Social Policy from Northwestern University and a MA in Counseling and Human Services from Roosevelt University. Additionally, she studied with The Association of Image Consultants International at Loyola University in Chicago where she studied wardrobe selection management, design aesthetics, business etiquette and international protocol. Ballentine also received her certification in Makeup Artistry from the Makeup First School in Chicago, where she studied beauty, media, clinical and theatrical makeup. She received her Nail Artistry Certification from the Wildflowers Nail Academy. Finally, SunShine completed her aesthetics training at Ms. Roberts Academy of Beauty Culture. Subsequently, she founded the Solstice Beauty Academy to share her love of learning and beauty with the world. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Licensed Cosmetologist and a Licensed Cosmetology Instructor. Ballentine is a print, runway and spokes model for companies and businesses she believes in. Because the best model, is a role model; she founded The Ladies of Distinction, a mentoring program that trains and inspires girls to be ladies. She is a member of the Association of Image Consultants International (AICI), the largest professional association of corporate and personal image consultants worldwide. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and serves as a Pro Beauty Domestic Violence trainer for salon professionals. SunShine Story Ballentine puts creativity, passion, and principles into her work as a beauty influencer at Exclusively Yours Salon.
